Looking to update my girlfriend's StreetPilot c330. It currently has City Navigator NA 2012.30 that was installed on a 2gb SD card. This was a one-time update for the device.
The portable StreetPilotĀ® c530 comes ready-to-go right out of the box with preloaded maps and plenty of options. New c500 series Features In addition to the simple touch-screen display found in previous versions, the StreetPilot c530 along with its counterparts, the StreetPilot c550 and StreetPilot c510, come loaded with new c500 series. The Garmin site says maps are available for the device but when you go to the order page it has a one line sentence saying that it is not compatible with StreetPilot devices. Just curious if it is possible to do a limited install on it which I did last time. Anyone know if the map format has changed since that last install for the c330?
I know it is an outdated device but she really likes it.
Thanks!
The Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS device comes preloaded with maps of North America. As time goes on, cities and towns change and expand and new places are founded, creating the need for new maps. To provide the most accurate directions, Garmin provides updated maps that reflect these changes to its customers. The updated maps can be downloaded from the Garmin website and transferred to a Garmin GPS device using the company's proprietary software.
